The Big Draw
Nobody won anything - it wasn’t that sort of draw - but a lot of people had fun looking and drawing during our “Dare to Draw” week. As a result there is now a considerable exhibition in the Church of both miniature drawings and two 30 foot long collaborative panels.
Visitors on Saturday 15th October, Sunday School and then, during the week Scouts, Poppins, Cubs and Beavers, Years 3 & 5 at Wickham Primary School and Home-Start all joined in, as well as many individuals drawing at home. Hardly a stone or leaf or beetle was left undrawn at the school and there is barely a nook or cranny in the church which has not been discovered, explored and drawn.
Please take the opportunity to drop into the church while the exhibition is still up to see what has been achieved by a huge range of abilities and ages. They all seemed to enjoy themselves and those of us who led the activities did too! Thank you to all who helped and took part.
