ST NICHOLAS CHURCH
& WICKHAM VILLAGE FETE
Saturday 9 June 2007
at Beverley, Southwick Road
The fete committee would like to thank everybody for making this year’s fete such a wonderful event. The weather was extremely kind to us even though at 11.30 the heavens opened on us, but thankfully the rain soon cleared up. And what a wonderful happy atmosphere there was.
Our grateful thanks go to the people who entertained us, the Meon Valley Methodist Circuit Band, and our delightful children from Wickham Primary School. And as always, our grateful thanks go to the huge number of people from Wickham who support us. In particular, Rookesbury Estate for the use of the gardens of Beverley and for those who live there, and to Tom Houghton for the use of his field for parking. To all the stallholders and their helpers, the heavy gang for the setting up and clearing away and to all the volunteers who gave their time and effort in making this such a resounding success.
And last, but not least, are all those who gave so generously.
Grand Total after expenses: £7,843.60
