Tuesday 10th June dawned bright and sunny and saw 60 excited children and their teachers off on their school trip to Staunton Country Park. Off we set with our picnics and sun cream for an exciting ride on a coach, arriving at the park for a full day learning about animals.

We fed goats, sheep and alpacas, learned how to care for a ferret and marvelled at how small baby guinea pigs are. There was a maze to get lost in, a sensory garden to explore and a huge greenhouse which housed a jungle, complete with tarantula spider!
A wonderful play park to relax and play in rounded off a fabulous day. We returned tried and happy with lots of memories of our day out.
