Year 3

Freezing frosty mornings,
Bitter snowboarding,
Tingling fingers in warm gloves.
Grey stormy skies all the time,
Cold all night long,
Snowflakes falling on trees.

Danielle Easen

Snow falling out of the sky like hail stones,
Glassy lakes frozen like ice rinks,
Breath steaming like a dragon,
Cold frosty evenings like a blizzard has
     whipped into town.

Kieran Roberts

Snow falling out of the air like evil stones,
Boys writing funny words on cars with their fingers,
Steam coming out like a train letting off steam,
Green slimy, slippery logs piled in the icy road.
Warm woolly scarf like a snake around my neck,
Cold, rainy weather hangs like a grey blanket,
Miraculous leaves falling from the trees and dying,
Breaking ice all night long.

Daniel Ross

Freezing frosty mornings,
Fires flickering in the fireplace.
Shiny ice sparkling in the sun,
Snowflakes pour from the sky,
A sleigh ride on snowy slopes,
Water freezing into ice,
Bitter, chilly winds that blow,
Wrap up warm in this weather.
